oil on canvas 16" x 24" signed lower right. Pelham was an illustrator. He received national recognition through reproductions of his work on a number of Saturday Evening Post covers. Many of his paintings have been used for Christmas cards for the American Artist Group. Eugene Pelham exhibited at the Vose Galleries, Boston; Ferargil Gallery, N.Y.; Southern Vermont Art Center, High Museum in Atlanta and many others. He resided in West Arlington, Vermont.
